This is a newly created role and a great opportunity to craft a career as an Analyst if you have strong revenue accounting skills:
Manage revenue across long-term customer contracts, ensuring accurate and timely revenue recognition throughout the customer lifecycle.
Apply relevant revenue recognition principles and maintain effective revenue processes within the ERP system.
Analyse large volumes of revenue data across key customers and multiple locations.
Perform monthly revenue analysis and reconciliations, investigating variances and identifying key movements.
Use strong commercial and analytical skills to understand revenue trends and the underlying business drivers.
Identify opportunities to automate and streamline high-volume, repetitive processes, improving efficiency and accuracy.
Develop and enhance management reporting and dashboards, improving visibility of revenue performance.
Partner with stakeholders across Finance and the wider business to improve processes, data integrity and commercial insights.
This is a great role for you if:
You have been wondering how to transition from either a Revenue Accountant role,
You are an Analyst with strong AASB15 accounting standards knowledge wanting to take more ownership
Degree qualified
Someone who enjoys stakeholder management and is a true ‘people person’. This is not a back-office type finance role!
Strong understanding of AASB 15 / IFRS 15 revenue recognition principles
Revenue accounting experience
Has shown an interest in doing FPA / Analyst work through achievements, projects or as some of your role.
Strong Excel ability
Exceptional communication skills and be confident to present in meetings.
