As Senior Payroll Officer, you’ll take a hands-on role while also mentoring a Payroll Officer and overseeing payroll processes during a system transition. Duties include:
End-to-end fortnightly payroll for 700–800 employees under multiple awards
Reviewing and supporting the Payroll Officer’s work
Process mapping and documentation to support the system change
Maintaining accurate records in Preceda
Super payments, payroll journals, reconciliations, PAYG & income tax
Salary packaging calculations
To be considered for this Senior Payroll Officer role, you will have the following skills & attributes:
5+ years’ end-to-end payroll experience
Preceda experience essential
Experience with process mapping/documentation will be highly regarded
Strong attention to detail and award interpretation skills
Availability to start quickly
