The Role

This role reports to the Group Finance Manager and is responsible for:

• Perform monthly corporate overhead analysis – investigation and commentary on actual versus budgeted expenditure and liaison with Functional Heads
• Working with business unit managers to coordinate monthly forecasting, quarterly review and annual budgeting process
• Analysis and reporting of staff utilisation on various projects and tenders
• Assist in the preparation of financial input book for UK reporting and associated work papers
• Review various accounting treatments and preparation of year-end disclosures
• Review and reconcile various balance sheet accounts such as prepayments, accrued income, accrued expenses, provisions and clearing accounts
• Prepare and review journal entries including accruals, prepayments, consolidation elimination, one-off large transactions
• Perform monthly profit and loss and balance sheet variance analysis

Your Background

To be considered for this role you will be fully CA or CPA qualified. You will already be a strong technical accountant with experience in:

• Monthly management reporting including P&L, Cashflow and balance sheet
• Annual financial statement preparation
• Strong knowledge of local accounting standards demonstrated on your resume
