Internally, they have strong company values and try to empower both their clients & their staff to be the best they can be. This includes offering up to three days of WFH.

This role has been created to directly support the CFO and one of the program leads. You will offer value internally as they leverage your Excel firepower to make informed organisation decisions, as well as be involved in the value the wider business offers.

The Role

This role has been created to cover the following areas:

  • Work closely and collaboratively with Operational Finance to develop detailed long-term Operating Cost Models.
  • Work closely and collaboratively with Finance Advisory partners on assumptions and inputs to detailed Pricing and Financing Models, including debt tenor and cost, optimal capital structures.
  • Partner with the Progam Leadership team to develop annual plans, budgets and forecasts to support achievement of their strategic goals.
  • Partner with the leadership team to determine resourcing and budget requirements for approved projects.
  • Develop and monitor reporting to ensure the long-term financial viability of the organisation.
  • Develop and monitor reporting to ensure the projects are in line with budgets and forecasts, and commentary and analysis to help the leadership team understand any variances.

Your Background

There are two absolutely key criteria for this role:

  1. Advanced ability in building complex financial models that can factor in long range forecasting to a granular level of detail.
  2. Strong business partnering skills. You are warm, empathetic and capable of explaining complex concepts articulately and with patience!

This is a senior-level role. It's expected that you have 10+ years of working in finance. They are looking for someone to start in the next 2-3 weeks, so notice period is a factor.

There is a strong preference for candidates from the NFP, Government, or similar sectors, but this is not essential if you strongly meet the key criteria.
