Senior AP Officer - Professional Services

The Company

We’re partnering with a leading, employee-owned professional services firm to recruit a Senior Accounts Payable Officer on a temporary-to-permanent basis. With $100m+ in annual revenue and a national presence, the business is recognised for its strong values, collaborative culture, and continued growth.

The Role

Reporting to the Financial Controller, you’ll play a key role in day-to-day AP while supporting a major system upgrade. This is a great opportunity to join a supportive team with the flexibility to work from home several days per week.

Key Responsibilities:

• Process 50–100 invoices weekly, ensuring accuracy and correct approvals
• Prepare weekly payment runs and assist with banking tasks
• Maintain vendor records and manage the AP inbox
• Support ERP system upgrade and help streamline AP processes
• Perform monthly credit card reconciliations
• Partner with project managers to ensure compliance and support business needs

About You:

• Immediately available to start
• Proven senior AP experience, ideally in a professional services or project-based environment
• Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills
• Experience with process improvement
• Accounting qualification (degree or cert) preferred
