Senior AP & Office Manager - Construction Materials - Western Sydney

Our client enjoys a reputation for excellence in the construction materials industry. Due to their continuing rapid growth, Richard Lloyd have been engaged to recruit a Senior Accounts Payable & Office Manager for their high performing finance team. 

Reporting in to a talented and experienced Finance Manager who thrives on watching her team develop, you will have the opportunity to grow both your skillset and career. You will be the ‘go-to person’ for any Accounts Payable and Office Management tasks.

The Role

Your role as Senior Accounts Payable & Office Manager will play a key position in the team. You will also be supervising a junior AP & Admin person for the next 12 months. This person will also help with all the below tasks:

Accounts Payable 

  • Processing of invoices (approximately 300/month) 
  • Preparing weekly and monthly creditor payment runs sending remittance advices
  • Reconciling supplier statements
  • Assisting with the maintenance of the general ledger
  • Cost/invoice allocations to projects
  • Payment claims for subcontractors and coordinating approval prior to payment
  • Completing credit applications as required

Office Administration/Office Management 

  • Organising travel arrangements
  • Event management: Social events, Christmas parties, etc. 
  • Welcoming guests, answering phones and directing customer enquiries, managing the mail and po box
  • Ad-hoc daily reporting 

Your Background

To be considered for this Senior AP & Office Manager role, you should meet the majority of the following:

  • Full function Account Payable experience 
  • Experience performing general office management duties (or a desire to) 
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Access to a car and willing to drive to the office 5 days/week
