The Role

Your role as Senior Accounts Payable Officer will be an integral part of the finance team. Reporting into the Financial Controller, you will take ownership of resolving complex supplier reconciliations while helping improve internal AP processes.

Your duties will include:

• Managing reconciliations and payment allocations for a key high-volume supplier
• Investigating discrepancies between supplier invoices, statements and completed jobs
• Ensuring invoices are supported by appropriate documentation before approval and payment
• Liaising with suppliers and internal stakeholders to resolve missing documentation or incorrect billing
• Reviewing and improving the end-to-end AP process to ensure stronger controls around job completion and payment
• Supporting the broader AP function and assisting with ad-hoc finance tasks as required

Your Background

To be considered for this Senior AP Officer role, you should meet most of the following criteria:

• Immediately available or a maximum of 1-week notice period
• Strong end-to-end Accounts Payable experience
• Ability to investigate discrepancies and resolve complex reconciliation issues
• Strong communication skills and confidence in liaising with suppliers and internal stakeholders
• Intermediate Excel skills and strong attention to detail
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, process improvement-focused environment
