The Role

Supporting the Financial Controller and supervising the junior accounts staff work you would be responsible for:

• Responsible for all financial management, reporting and compliance requirements across Australia and overseas entities.

• Supervise Group statutory reporting obligations including financial statement and tax return preparation.

• Manage inter-company accounting transactions.

• Assist with systems improvements and upgrades.

• Review and approve general journal posting and monthly balance sheet reconciliations.

• Review AR/AP and Payroll tasks.

• Assist with strategic projects, utilising financial acumen and technical expertise to ensure the best outcome for the Group.

• Identify and develop key processes to manage control deficiencies within the current environment.

• Opportunity to take on management accounting, analysis & forecasting tasks.

Your Background

We are looking for experienced Financial Accountants or Senior Accountants ideally from a group reporting environment.

You are fully CA or CPA qualified and confidently able to supervise the work of the more junior members of the team.

On your resume, we will see statutory reporting, multi-entity reporting, and strong financial accounting,

You have excellent communication skills and are confident, ambitious and eager to work hard to achieve results!
