The Role

As the Senior Accountant, you will report to a Senior Finance Manager, and you will get involved in the following:

• Financial reporting, month-end close including preparation of journals and balance sheet reconciliations
• Group consolidated reporting
• Preparation of the FBT returns and quarterly tax reporting
• Assist with interim and year-end audits
• Assist with financial forecasts and budgets
• Manage and mentor an Assistant Accountant

Your Background

To be considered for this Senior Accountant role you will need the following background:

• Be fully qualified (e.g. CA/CPA/CIMA)
• Have experience working as a Senior Financial Accountant in a commercial company
• This client will also consider a first-time mover from a Big 4 Audit firm
• Medium to large company background experience
• Solid exposure to consolidations and statutory reporting
• Energy, drive and willingness to learn
• A great ‘can-do’ attitude
