The Role

Reporting to the Practice Manager and working closely with principals and the external CFO, this Senior Accountant role will provide hands-on finance support during a key transition period. The position will oversee management reporting and billing performance, act as the main internal contact for the outsourced CFO and help support the move to Xero.

Key duties include:

• Producing and analysing weekly management reports covering billing, KPIs and cash flow
• Overseeing the weekly billing process and partnering with the billing function on accuracy and timing
• Acting as the internal finance liaison for the external CFO across reporting, tax prep and cash flow
• Supporting budgets, tax return drafting, ESG-related work and post go-live system issues

This role suits an immediately available accountant who enjoys partnering with stakeholders, working in a hands-on environment and adding value during periods of change and growth.

Your Background

• Immediately available to start
• Background in legal, professional services or a related industry
• CA or CPA qualification preferred, but not essential
• Strong communication skills and confidence working with senior stakeholders
• Xero experience is ideal, and exposure to AI tools will be viewed favourably
