The Role

This is a part-time Senior Accountant role (24 hours per week) where you will report to a Financial Controller and be responsible for the following duties:

• Provisions including warranty, sales returns, and rebates
• General Ledger Maintenance and Posting
• Assistance with Half Year and Full Year Audit
• Payroll accounting
• Balance sheet maintenance and reconciliations 
• Month-end reports and board reporting
• Assistance with income tax, GST and FBT as required
• Manage the Accounts Receivable team

Your Background

To be considered for this Senior Accountant position, you will meet the following criteria:

• Professionally qualified as an Accountant (e.g. CA, ACA, ACCA, CPA or equivalent)
• Have a strong accounting background
• Genuine reasons to work part-time hours
• Proven prior staff management experience
• You must have excellent communication skills and the confidence to liaise with internal and external stakeholders
