Project Accountant - Infrastructure Projects

Company Background

Our client is a well-established engineering business with a successful track record of infrastructure projects. They have been thriving for more than 25 years and have built their reputation on professionalism and forward thinking. With new projects and continued growth, they are looking to add a talented Project Accountant to the team. Hybrid flexibility, street parking and a friendly environment are on offer. 

The Role

This Project Accountant role is varied and broad. Your responsibilities will include (but not limited to):

• Project accounting for multiple projects
• Partnering with Project Managers to produce project update reports
• Financial accounting, including month-end reporting
• Intercompany, bank and balance sheet reconciliations
• Prepare management reports
• Prepare statutory returns
• Ad hoc duties as required

Your Background

To be considered for this Project Accountant role, you should have the following skills and attributes:

• Professional accounting qualifications (CA, CPA or equivalent)
• Experience in a service-based, WIP environment
• Month-end and reporting experience
• Excellent communication skills
• Strong financial accounting skills
