Company Background

Our client is a global technology-driven company operating within the entertainment space. They have operations across APAC, Europe and North America, with a fast-growing presence in Australia.

Due to internal change, they are seeking a well-rounded and experienced Procurement Manager to take the lead on developing and delivering change across their procurement, supplier & contract management processes.

This will initially be a 6-month fixed-term contract with the possibility of an extension.

The Role

As the Procurement Manager, you will focus on:

• Streamlining and developing frameworks, tools and controls across procurement
• Business partnering with unit leaders to understand best practices
• Driving improvements across systems and automating processes
• Oversight of tendering, commercial negotiations and contract renewals
• Handling procurement and supplier performance issues
• Procurement administration

Your Background

To be considered for this role, you will have the following skills, attributes and achievements:

• Immediately available, or short notice (less than 2 weeks)
• Experience in a senior-level procurement role
• Preferably experience within the Technology space, or a services-based business
• Strong negotiation and business partnering skills
• A history and track record of change management and process improvements
• Working knowledge of budgeting and cost management
• Comfortable working across both hands-on processing and process transformation at a company level
