The Role

An opportunity has arisen for an experienced Payroll Officer to join the team on a temporary basis, providing essential support during a busy period. Working as part of a close-knit payroll group and reporting to the Payroll Manager, you will:

• Manage end-to-end weekly and monthly payroll for approximately 500 employees
• Process new starters, terminations, and adjustments
• Oversee payroll tax, superannuation, and incentive payments
• Maintain compliance with awards and enterprise agreements
• Assist with reconciliations, reporting, and audit preparation
• Support the Payroll Manager during the month-end and EOFY cycles

Your Background

To be considered for this position, you will have:

• Immediate or short-term availability
• Experience working in a high-volume, multi-site payroll environment
• Strong working knowledge of Micropay (essential) and familiarity with Tanda (desirable)
• Good understanding of payroll compliance, superannuation, and taxation
• Excellent attention to detail and a collaborative working style
