Company Background

Our client is a stable Australian retail/FMCG company that provides high-quality products, produced and sold in Australia. They take pride in being 100% Australian-owned and love the fact that they give back to the local economy. The team is looking forward to welcoming an eager Payroll Officer. This role is stand-alone for now, with a view to growing as the organisation expands.

Position Description

The role is an end-to-end payroll position and will include the following duties:

• Full-function payroll processing for approximately 300 employees on a weekly and monthly basis
• Complying with relevant awards and legislation
• Assist with month-end reporting
• ​Answering general payroll enquiries, including advice on awards, policies, etc.

Your Background

To be successful for this role, you will have the following:

• Experience performing payroll for a minimum of 250 people
• Tech savvy, including intermediate Excel skills (pivot tables and vlookups)  
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Australian citizen or permanent resident
