Interim CFO - Not-for-profit
Company Background
Our client is a respected not-for-profit that provides a range of services to their local community and national clients. They are seeking an experienced and passionate CFO to join them on an interim basis and guide them through a period of change.
The Role
As the CFO, you will focus on:
- Leading and managing all aspects of financial reporting, budgeting and financial planning
- Partnering closely with the Board and ELT, as well as various compliance and regulatory committees
- Manage risk, compliance, tax and audit requirements
- Oversee IT and management of assets
- Take the lead on system upgrades and improvements
- Oversee the payroll function
Your Background
To become a valued member of the leadership team, you will have the following skills and attributes as a minimum:
- Immediate availability
- Professional qualification, recognised in Australia (CA, CPA, etc.)
- Prior experience in a lead finance role
- Experience managing finance and payroll teams
- Experience leading a system implementation or a large system upgrade project
- Prior Not-for-Profit, Healthcare, Aged Care or multi-service industry experience is highly regarded
