Finance Leadership 6-month Contract

Company Background

Our client is a private equity backed professional services business going from strength to strength. As a respected player in their sector, they have continuing growth plans in place, driven by an impressive SLT.

Culturally, this is a company with a fast-paced and energising vibe. The CFO has built a high-calibre finance team, and this role leads a team of over 15 indirect staff. Intensity is met with flexibility; 2 days a week WFH is available. 

The Role

This is a 6-month contract covering the Group Financial Controller. Core duties you will take ownership of will include (not limited to):

• Finance team leadership
• Board and executive management reporting
• Financial reporting and year-end audit leadership
• Review cash flows and forecasting
• Assist with the budget process
• Oversee project accounting team, AP, AR and Payroll

Your Background

In order to be considered for this Group FC role, you will meet the following criteria:

• Professionally qualified, e.g. CA, CPA, CIMA, ACCA (or equivalent)
• Strong financial reporting and technical accounting background
• Experience leading mid-large teams
• Candidates with exposure to project reporting will be preferred
