Multi-Entity Financial Reporting Lead

The Role

We are seeking a Group Accountant to play a key role within the Finance team, acting as the right-hand to the CFO and a primary point of contact for the wider finance function. Task will include, but not be limited to:

  • Manage day-to-day finance operations, including general ledger, foreign exchange and accurate maintenance of financial records across all operating entities.
  • Prepare monthly and annual reporting, including financial statements, BAS, FBT, balance sheet and P&L reconciliations.
  • Support budgeting and cash flow management in partnership with the CFO and divisional managers, including costing and forecasts.
  • Support the IT system upgrade, partnering with the IT manager to ensure a seamless upgrade.
  • Lead and support the finance function by managing the Assistant Accountant and providing responsive support to internal and external stakeholders.

Your Background

To be considered for this Group Accountant role, you will have the following attributes:

  • Professionally qualified (CA, CPA, CIMA etc.)
  • Experience across budgeting and forecasting
  • A high level of communication with the ability to partner with internal stakeholders
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles, ideally in a group environment
  • Inventory accounting experience ideally coming from a similar industry background
