This role reports to a talented, upbeat and charismatic Head of Finance with multiple other touchpoints across the business. You will quickly become relied upon as a valued member of the finance team and be a ‘go-to’ business partner to your non-finance stakeholders.

The Role

This is a broad role offering appealing variety in both financial and management accounting. Your responsibilities as Financial / Management Accountant will initially involve holistic oversight of a large key venue, covering (not limited to):

• Budgeting and forecasting
• Variance analysis and commentary 
• Liaising with both finance and non-finance stakeholders, working as a finance business partner
• Preparing event settlement reports 
• Financial reporting
• BAS returns 
• Cashflow management for each event 
• Audit management 

As you master your remit, your role will evolve to take on additional responsibilities across the wider group and see you involved in process improvement initiatives/projects.

Your Background

To be considered for this Financial / Management Accountant role, you should have the following skills and attributes:

• Be Degree-qualified and part/fully qualified CPA, CA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent
• Eagerness to business partner, be hands-on and get involved with all facets of accounting
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
• Possess a positive, growth mindset coupled with commercial nous and great attention to detail
• Desire and genuine interest in working in the entertainment and events industry
• Those wanting to make a first move from Chartered Business Services into commercial are also welcome to apply
• Previous experience working at either a Financial Accountant, Accountant or Senior Assistant Accountant level (ready to step up).
