The Role

Reporting directly to the CEO and working as a key member of the senior leadership team, the Financial Controller will lead the finance function and play a central role in supporting the company’s strategic direction.

Responsibilities will include:

• Own the end-to-end finance function, including reporting, budgeting and forecasting
• Oversee cash flow, financial governance, and regulatory compliance
• Deliver timely and accurate reporting, including P&L, balance sheet and cash flow
• Support strategic decision making with commercial insights and financial modelling
• Lead process improvement and finance systems optimisation
• Work with external advisors on tax, audit and compliance matters
• Build and lead a high-performing finance team over time

Your Background

To be considered for this Financial Controller role, you will ideally have:

• CA/CPA qualification
• Experience leading or managing a finance function in a small to mid-sized business
• A background in financial services or a regulated environment (advantageous but not essential)
• Strong commercial acumen, hands-on financial management capability and attention to detail
• A collaborative mindset and the confidence to challenge, lead and contribute at an executive level
• A passion for working in a high-growth, fast-paced environment where your input will shape the future direction of the business
