The Role

Your role as Financial Controller will enjoy breadth and variety, taking ownership of the financial reporting. Your duties will include (not limited to):

• Financial reporting – divisional reporting, revenue and job analysis, cash flow reporting and management
• Preparing the half-year and full-year statutory accounts in accordance with AASB and ASX requirements
• Tax and Regulatory Compliance
• Ensuring robust controls and compliance are in place
• Managing the interim and year-end audit
• Working with multiple stakeholders, fast becoming a key finance business partner for departments
• Supervision and mentorship of your team of direct reports

Your Background

To be considered for this Financial Controller position, you should have the following skills and attributes:

• Professionally qualified as an accountant (e.g. CA, CPA, ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent)
• Excellent financial control experience
• Previous experience working in an ASX-listed company and/or a Big 4 accounting firm will be highly advantageous
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Confident and collaborative working style, eager to partner with internal stakeholders
• Strong interpersonal abilities and collaborative demeanour, and the ability to lead your team
