Broad Financial Accounting Role

The Role

Join this growing team in a permanent role as the Accountant. You will report to and heavily support a talented and approachable Financial Controller. This role will include, but will not be limited to:

• Month-end closing, including journal posting
• Balance sheet reconciliation
• Preparation of board pack - liaising with senior stakeholders
• Annual statutory financial reports preparation
• Preparation of AASB16 adjustments
• Weekly cashflow forecasts
• Preparation of monthly GST lodgement, annual FBT return
• Assist with statutory audit and preparation of audit documentations
• Assist in the annual budget process

Your Background

To be considered for this role, you must fulfil most of the following criteria:

• Professional accounting qualification (CA/CPA/ACCA) 
• Month-end reporting (e.g. P&L statement, cashflow statement)
• Balance sheet reconciliations
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills to liaise with all levels of the business
• Product-based industry experience (Retail, FMCG, Manufacturing, Wholesale, Logistics, etc.)
• Have worked in a medium to large-sized enterprise
