The Role

Responsibilities will include:

  • Prepare month-end and client-specific reporting, including P&L reports. All related tasks to coordinate the month-end, including balance reconciliations, journals & accruals.
  • Liaise with clients to resolve accounting issues and provide guidance
  • Assist with budgeting, reforecasting, and year-end reconciliations in collaboration with external stakeholders
  • Manage trust accounts in accordance with legislation and regulatory requirements
  • Generate monthly trust account compliance reports and maintain accurate reconciliations
  • Handle full accounts payable and receivable processes, including QA checks, payments, and remittances
  • Process tenant charges, rental invoices, accruals, and prepayments in the property system

Your Background

Key requirements for this role are:

  • CA or CPA qualified
  • 4-5 years of experience as a Financial Accountant with full month-end ownership
  • You have worked in an SME environment and happy to own the bottom to top, month-end coordination
  • Exceptional communication skills
  • Willing to work in the offices 5 days in the Hills district
  • A high level of attention to detail, which will first be demonstrated by your application matching the requirements of this role
  • A valid visa to work permanently in Australia
