Broad Financial Reporting Role

The Role

We are seeking a highly capable Financial Accountant to take full ownership of your division’s financial operations. You will work closely with a skilled and supportive Financial Controller who is committed to fostering a positive culture and providing strong career development opportunities.

In this role, you will manage and mentor an Assistant Accountant while driving accurate and timely financial reporting, process improvements, and day-to-day accounting operations. This is an excellent opportunity to step into a role with real responsibility, influence, and professional growth. This Financial Accountant position boasts a broad range of responsibilities and will include, but will not be limited to:

• Develop strong, collaborative relationships with internal stakeholders and external partners.
• Prepare accurate monthly management and financial reports, including variance analysis.
• Perform month-end close, accruals, overhead allocations, and revenue/expense recognition.
• Maintain and reconcile balance sheets, fixed asset registers, and other key accounts.
• Ensure compliance with statutory reporting, tax obligations, and internal policies.
• Support audits and liaise with external auditors as required.

Your Background

To be considered for this broad Financial Accountant role, you will:

• Hold a CA/CPA (or almost qualified) or equivalent
• Be experienced with Financial Accounting, including month-end
• Be willing to work in a broad position encompassing a mix of finance, projects, operations, and sales support
• Hungry to learn and have an inquisitive mindset
• Have strong attention to detail
• Have excellent written & verbal communication skills
