Our client is an established player in Sydney’s aged care sector. They are an expanding business with a great success story to date and they have exciting plans to keep on growing in the future. The Role 

Reporting to the CFO and within a greater Finance team of 6, your role will be broad and varied. This role will be responsible for supporting them during a period of growth. More specifically you will be responsible for:

• Month-end process including financial reporting
• Balance sheet recs, bank recs, accruals, prepayments 
• Quarterly and annual aged care reporting
• Prepare statements to residents
• Update master data in Epicor
• Accounting for the payroll process – journals, taxes, etc.
• Ad hoc duties as required

Your Background

To be considered for this Financial Accountant position you will need:

• Experience in completing quarterly and annual aged care statutory reporting
• Professionally qualified (CA, CPA or equivalent)
• Experience working as a Financial Accountant or Senior Assistant Accountant
• Full month-end accounting experience as per duties listed above
• Have excellent written and verbal communication skills
