Company Background

As one of Australia’s premium food producers, our client supplies to the hospitality industry, the home cooking scene and international customers. They are Australian born-and-bred and using only Australian products, are universally known for their quality and strong brand presence. 

Due to consistent year-on-year growth, they are looking to add a talented Financial Accountant to assist with process improvement within the finance function. 

The Role

This role is a 6-month Fixed term contract. Reporting to the Financial Controller, this Financial Accountant will have mixed responsibilities around financial reporting and month-end, as well as involvement in process improvement initiatives across the finance function: 

• Monthly P&L and balance sheet analysis
• Capex maintenance and reporting
• Cashflow forecasting
• Tax prep (BAS, FBT, payroll tax, PAYG)
• Assist with the audit process

Your Background

To be considered for this role, our client is particularly interested in candidates that fit the following:

• 1 weeks’ notice or less 
• Comfortable with month-end reporting and cash flow analysis
• Prior experience with ongoing process improvements as part of their role 
• Qualified CA / CPA / ACCA / CIMA 
• Manufacturing experience is also desirable
