The Company

With an entrepreneurial feel, you will join on a 12-month fixed term contract to help cover maternity leave.  As the company grows, it is likely to become a permanent fixture of the high performing finance team.

This role will report directly to a talented Financial Controller who provides ample opportunity for career development, mentorship, and support. This is a role that will be hard to rival, allowing you to grow and gain exposure across all aspects of the business as the business grows.

As the Financial Accountant, you will see yourself working closely with other members of the finance team and having regular access to the senior leadership team across the business.

The Role

This is a role that will come with excellent exposure across the enterprise and the Financial Accountant duties will include, but will not be limited to:

• Oversee all bookkeeping tasks, ensuring precise recording of financial transactions, ledger entries, and account reconciliations.
• Manage accounts receivable activities, including invoicing, payment collection, and customer account reconciliations to secure prompt payments.
• Supervise accounts payable processes, handling invoice approvals, vendor payments, and ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
• Compile and review financial reports related to receivables and payables, highlighting key trends and performance metrics.
• Maintain compliance with accounting principles, internal controls, and company policies across all financial operations.
• Identify opportunities to streamline bookkeeping and financial processes for improved accuracy and efficiency.
• Partner with other departments to provide financial support and deliver reliable financial information.

Your Background

To be considered for this Financial Accountant role, you will have the majority of the following criteria:

• CA / CPA qualification or part-qualified (or equivalent).
• Financial reporting skills and AP/AR experience evident on your CV.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills to liaise with all levels of the business.
• Strong attention to detail coupled with a great attitude.
• Be excited to work in a fast-paced, dynamic and growing enterprise.
