Finance Team Leader - NFP

The Company

The Role 

As the Team Leader of Finance, you will play a crucial part in the business's success. You will oversee the transactional functions as well as taking ownership of payroll.

Your responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:

  • Managing a team of 4 (AP & AR Officers)
  • Analysing these functions and identifying areas for improvement  
  • Handing any escalated AR or AP matters 
  • Bank reconciliations 
  • Payroll processing for approximately 100 staff with support from HR
  • Reconciling PAYG, FBT, Superannuation and leave 

Your Background

As the successful Finance Team Leader, you will have proven staff management experience and be comfortable liaising with multiple stakeholders. You should also possess the following:

  • Intermediate Excel (pivot tables & VLOOKUP’s) 
  • Previous experience managing a team 
  • AP, AR and Payroll processing experience 
  • Strong written and verbal English communication skills

The successful candidate will come from one of the following backgrounds:

  • Shared Service (AP/AR) Manager who has processed payroll in their career
  • Payroll Manager who has been in an Accounts provision previously which involved AP & AR
  • SME Finance Manager or Company Accountant that has managed a small team
