Company Background

Our client is a global professional services firm with a rapidly expanding presence globally and regionally. They have exciting plans for 2026 and are seeking a talented, ambitious and technical finance professional to join the finance team in Sydney.

Located in the heart of Sydney’s CBD in modern offices, they offer a balanced culture of fun and hard work with the opportunity to work from home 3 days a week.

The Role

Reporting into a talented Finance Director, you will initially focus on:

• Managing the interim and final audit processes
• Intercompany reconciliations and consolidations
• Tax compliance for ANZ
• Ad hoc reporting
• Cashflow reporting and modelling

You will then turn your focus to:

• Australia-wide expense management system roll-out
• Assessing existing processes and developing automations
• Work with the global team on a company-wide D365 roll-out

Your Background

To be considered for this project-focused Finance Manager role, you will have the following skills and attributes:

• Immediate availability (shorter notice periods will be considered)
• Professionally qualified (CA, CPA etc)
• Audit-trained within one of the big-4
• Experience post-qualification within a commercial business is a must
• Strong working knowledge of IFRS
• Prior experience working within (or as a client) a listed business or multi-national business
• Any exposure to change management, improvement projects, systems implementations is highly regarded
