The Role

Due to an internal promotion, they are seeking an experienced Finance Manager to take on a 2IC role. In this position, you will oversee (but not directly manage) the entire finance team and report directly to a talented Financial Controller. This is a broad, hands-on Finance Manager position and your duties will include but not be limited to the following: 

• Mentor and be the point of contact for the medium-sized finance team
• Financial reporting and analysis including developing and maintaining financial models
• Be a key point of contact and business partner to the Financial Controller and C-Suite executives 
• Budgeting and forecasting including leading the annual budgeting process for ANZ region, developing and maintaining rolling forecasts and analysing budgets and forecasts
• Financial compliance and controls including internal and external audit work, managing tax, FBT etc.
• Process improvement and automations, driving automation initiatives 

Your Background

To be considered for this Finance Manager role, you will be a qualified Accountant (e.g. CA / CPA / ACCA / CIMA or equivalent) and will meet most of the following criteria:

• Have worked as a Finance Manager previously 
• Proven examples of process improvements/achievements on resume 
• An excellent attitude to challenge the status quo, with great written and verbal communication skills
