Company Background

Our client is a financial services business with a global foothold. They are going through a period of change internally and seeking a talented Finance Manager to join the team on a temporary basis, bringing with them a strong understanding of IFRS principles, audit exposure and consolidations experience to lead them through their year-end process. 

The Role

 As the Finance Manager you will focus on:

• Preparation of financial statements and technical memos
• Consolidating multiple entities
• Balance sheet reconciliation and investigation
• Being the main point of contact for External Auditors
• Working with the CFO and FC on year-end closing and consolidations

Your Background

To become a vital member of this finance team, you will have the following skills and attributes:

• Immediate availability
• Availability through December and January for Year-End
• Professional qualification (e.g. CA, CPA, ACCA)
• Consolidations experience
• IFRS 16 (leasing) knowledge 
• Prior experience working with External Auditors
• Strong Excel skills (vlookups and pivots as a minimum)
• Proactive and investigative approach to your work
