The Role

As the Finance Manager, you will be the right hand to the Director of Operations and enjoy a broad and autonomous role. Your responsibilities will include (but not be limited to):

  • Budgeting and forecasting, cashflow management, KPI reporting
  • Business partner with finance and non-finance stakeholders on budgets, variance analysis and reporting
  • Ensure proper financial controls are in place, suggest and implement new processes as necessary
  • Complete ACNC & government reporting, BAS & FBT returns and asset management
  • Maintain external relationships including auditors
  • Capital budgeting, forecasting and reporting
  • Other projects as they arise

Your Background

To be considered for this Finance Manager role, you should have the following skills and attributes:

  • CA / CPA qualified (or equivalent)
  • Business partnering experience, particularly with non-finance stakeholders
  • Track record of process improvement/system implementation projects
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Strong communication skills
  • Educational industry experience is an advantage but not essential. Other relatable industries such as not-for-profit or people-centric businesses would be considered highly.
