Based in Sydney’s South West, they now have a rare opportunity for a Finance Business Partner to join their Finance team.

The Role

Reporting to the Financial Controller, this FBP role has a number of key functions including:

• Provide relevant financial insights to support operational and strategic decision-making for the business
• Meet regularly with operational budget holders to set financial optimisation plans and performance targets
• Influence and support business performance, identifying opportunities for revenue growth and cost optimisation
• Collaborate and challenge constructively, building trusted relationships across multiple stakeholder groups
• Co-lead the budgeting and forecasting processes
• Assist with business cases, investment analysis and financial modelling to support growth initiatives
• Use advanced Excel skills, including Power Query, and develop insightful Power BI dashboards to analyse both big and small data, presenting information in a way that informs decisions and inspires action
• Play an active role in transformation projects and systems improvement initiatives
• Support the Financial Controller on broader financial responsibilities such as month-end reporting, treasury, investments, workers' comp, asset register, and general ledger reconciliations

Your Background

To be considered for this fabulous Finance Business Partner role, our client is particularly interested in candidates with:

• Solid Management Accounting / Business Analyst backgrounds.
• Excellent interpersonal skills, especially in dealing with non-Finance stakeholders
• Top-shelf analysis skills, especially using tools like Power BI, Power Query
