The Role 

Reporting to senior finance and investment stakeholders, your responsibilities will include:

Commercial Finance / FP&A (c.50%)

  • Lead budgeting, forecasting and long-range planning across portfolio businesses.
  • Deliver high-quality management reporting, variance analysis and performance insights.
  • Partner with operational and investment teams to drive commercial decision-making.
  • Develop dashboards and KPIs to monitor value creation initiatives.
  • Support board and investor reporting with clear, concise financial narratives.

Investment Analysis & Modelling (c.50%)

  • Build and maintain complex financial models for investment evaluation and scenario analysis.
  • Conduct sensitivity, downside and upside modelling to support capital allocation decisions.
  • Analyse returns, cash flows and value drivers across existing and prospective investments.
  • Support transaction activity, including acquisitions, divestments and refinancing.
  • Work closely with deal teams on investment cases and post-investment performance tracking.

Your Background

You will have an impressive background that can demonstrate the following skills:

  • CA, CPA, CIMA, ACCA or equivalent qualification.
  • You will have experience across FP&A, commercial finance, investment analysis, corporate finance or transaction services.
  • Advanced financial modelling capability with strong attention to detail.
  • Experience working within private equity, funds management, investment banking, consulting or a highly commercial corporate environment.
  • The ability to translate complex financial analysis into clear commercial insights.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills and confidence working with senior executives and investors.
