Chief Financial Officer - Professional Services

With a current annual revenue of approximately $100m, our client is poised for continued growth and is seeking a dynamic CFO with a collaborative mindset to play a key role in driving their next phase of success.

The Role

Reporting to the Managing Partner, as the CFO, you will quickly become an important part of the Leadership Team. Your duties will include (but not be limited to):

  • Overall leadership of the finance function, ensuring the financial health and sustainability of the business

  • Manage, coach and mentor an overall team of 15 staff to ensure high quality, accurate and timely output

  • Work with senior leadership on the development & implementation of strategy. Provide commercial advice and be part of critical decision-making

  • Drive results and partner with multiple stakeholders to enhance performance

  • Drive the upgrade and implementation of financial systems

  • Implement best in class financial infrastructure to enable efficient future growth

  • Oversight of all compliance and financial control requirements

  • Identify, manage and monitor strategic and operational financial risks

  • Drive the company’s financial planning and budgeting processes

  • Continuous development and maintenance of financial metrics for business intelligence reporting

Your Background

To be considered for this Chief Financial Officer role, you must possess the following skills and attributes:

  • Be professionally qualified (e.g. CA, ACA, ACCA, CPA or equivalent)

  • Have significant experience working in an employee-owned professional services firm in a lead finance position

  • Track record of mentoring and developing high-performance finance teams

  • Past successes of driving and delivering strategic goals. Highly developed commercial acumen with demonstrable experience in providing insights that drive overall company strategy

  • Proven successes of collaboratively and confidently leading change management and system implementation projects

  • Have evolved the infrastructure of a finance department to allow for seamless growth

  • Excellent interpersonal and presentation skills coupled with an executive presence to liaise with confidence with a variety of senior stakeholders
