The Role

Your role as CFO will enjoy breadth and variety, taking ownership of finance and being involved in operations. Reporting to the CEO, your duties will include (not limited to):

  • Supervision of your team of direct reports
  • Financial stewardship of the business, including P&L ownership, statutory tax, variance to budget, and analysis
  • Working closely with the CEO on growth plans and providing commercial insights
  • Ensuring robust controls and compliance are in place
  • Driving process and systems improvement initiatives
  • Oversight of payroll  and other areas

Your Background

To be considered for this CFO role, you must meet the following criteria:

  • Professionally qualified as an accountant (e.g. CA, CPA, ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent)
  • Prior experience working in engineering, construction, or industrial products
  • Experience working in a small to medium-sized business
  • Proven experience of driving change, adding value and implementing improvements

Strong interpersonal abilities and collaborative demeanour – ability to lead your team effectively whilst also building strong relationships with stakeholders
