Business Administrator - Wholesale & Retail
Company Background
Our client is a wholesaler & retailer in the beauty space. They pride themselves on providing an unbeatable package compared to their competitors by offering workshops and educational seminars on their products. They are growing at a rapid rate, making this an exciting time to join the business.
The Role
As the Business Administrator, you will report to a talented Finance Manager. Your role will include, but will not be limited to the following duties:
- Accounts Payable support (processing invoices)
- Accounts Receivable support (allocations)
- Assist FM with month-end tasks such as depreciation, fixed asset register, and tax compliance
- Research and negotiate with third parties to secure the best products and prices for the business (e.g. company cars, energy providers, etc.)
- Working with the Operations Coordinator to ensure compliance across the business
- Liaising with contractors to coordinate maintenance works
- Support the broader business with project work (e.g. system implementations)
- Eventually you will be trained up on payroll duties to support the Finance Manager.
Your Background
In order to be a successful applicant for this role, you will possess the following attributes;
- Prior experience in an all-rounder position (e.g. Office Administration, Accounts Administrator, Bookkeeper, Operations Officer)
- Intermediate Excel skills (confident with pivot tables and Vlookups as a minimum)
- Excellent communication skills, as you will be dealing with internal and external stakeholders
- Happy to travel to the office 5 days per week
- Australian Citizen or PR
