Bookkeeper / Company Accountant - Construction

The Company

Our client is a Construction business with a full pipeline of work and is a leading player in their field of expertise. Their offices are located in the Sydney CBD, close to a train station.

On offer is an ongoing temporary role with great job security.

The Role

This is a Bookkeeper role where you will report to a Finance Manager and be responsible for the following duties:

  • Accounts Payable – handling enquiries and payments, processing employee expenses
  • Performing reconciliations
  • Payroll end-to-end (no experience is required)

Your Background

To be considered for this Bookkeeper position, you will have:

  • 5 to 10 years of previous experience in a Bookkeeper or Accounts all-rounder role
  • Xero or MYOB software experience is highly regarded
  • Capable of working in a fast-paced environment
  • You must have excellent communication skills and the confidence to liaise with all levels of the business and address queries from internal and external stakeholders in a friendly and approachable manner.

This Bookkeeper role is best suited for someone who enjoys a balance between accounting and administration duties.
