The Company

Our client, a global leader in advisory services and at the forefront of the sustainability consulting market in Sydney, is seeking a Financial Accountant to join their team.

They specialise in empowering clients across diverse industries to embed sustainability into their operations and reduce their global carbon impact. 

They offer a fast paced but flexible working environment, with 2-3 days a week working from home available once training and onboarding is complete. 

The Role 

This role is a 3-month temporary role with an opportunity for extension. Your role as the Assistant Accountant will include but not limited to:

• Month-end journals, accruals, prepayments 
• Monthly GL reconciliations
• Assist group and regional reporting pack preparation
• GST, FBT, and payroll tax returns 
• Ad-hoc duties as required 

Your Background

To be considered for this Assistant Accountant role, you will have the following skills and attributes:

• Prior experience with month-end journals and GL reconciliations
• Immediately available
