The Role 

As the Assistant Accountant, your role will be broad and see you involved and exposed to an appealing range of duties. You will report to the Finance Manager and perform the following: 

• Bank reconciliations
• General ledger reconciliations
• Assisting with month-end processes – accruals, prepayments and journals
• Fixed Assets and depreciation maintenance
• Managing Accounts Payable & Receivables
• Assisting with audits

Your Background

To be considered for this position, you will ideally meet the majority of the following criteria:

• Degree qualified with plans to start or be studying a professional qualification (e.g. CA, CPA, ACA, CIMA, ACCA or equivalent) 
• At least 1 years of accounting experience
• Our client will also consider a FTM from a chartered accounting firm environment 
• Have excellent written and verbal communication skills in order to effectively liaise and partner with multiple stakeholders
• Confident, interactive and sociable personality to business partner with non-finance stakeholders
