There is the opportunity to work from home one day a week once you have completed training and can work independently.  Their offices are absolutely stunning with great views, an impressive kitchen/breakout area, and displays of their work. It's quite possible you will prefer to come to the offices!

The Role

The Assistant Accountant role will be responsible for:

• Assist with the month-end tasks, including monthly journals and balance sheet reconciliations.
• Assisting in preparing management reports.
• Producing weekly and monthly reports, both internal and external.
• Fixed assets reconciliation.
• Maintain the fixed assets register and process monthly depreciation.
• Work in Progress reconciliation.
• Manage intercompany transactions and journals.
• Bank reconciliation assistance where required.
• Preparation of monthly billing.
• Assist in audit tasks across the Group.
• Assist with the preparation of annual budgets.

Your Background

Our client is looking to hire someone with the following background:

• Currently an Assistant Accountant with some month-end reporting tasks – journals, prepayments, accruals.
• Currently studying for your CA or CPA qualification.
• Great communication skills and someone confident engaging with stakeholders across the business.

If you have any experience in Advertising/Media, that would be highly regarded, but it is not essential.
