Company Background

Our client is a fast-growing furniture wholesale business supplying major retail stores across Australia and New Zealand. Experiencing consistent YoY growth, the business is expanding and has created this new role to support increasing operational and accounting demands.

The Role

Supporting the Managing Director, this is a hands-on Accounts & Admin Officer role offering broad exposure and long term development. Key duties include:

  • Accounts payable – processing supplier invoices, payments, and expense claims
  • Bank and supplier reconciliations
  • Accounts receivable – invoice follow up, credit notes and statements
  • Supporting month-end accounting tasks as the role develops
  • General administration, including data entry, document review and ordering office supplies

Your Background

To be considered for this role, you will have the following skills and attributes:

  • Immediately available to start mid January 2026 with full-time working rights
  • 1-2 years’ experience at this level
  • Strong communication skills and attention to detail
  • Strong foundational understanding of accounting (degree preferred)
