Accountant

Dynamic Financial Reporting Role

The Company

Our client is a well-established investment firm and operates mostly in the hotels and hospitality space. You will work with a supportive and collaborative finance team, reporting to a talented Finance Manager.

The Role

Your tasks as the Accountant will include (but will not be limited to):

• Prepare and post journal entries
• Maintain and reconcile the fixed asset register
• Month-end close and reporting
• Prepare management reports
• Bank reconciliations
• Preparation and lodgement of BAS, GST, and income tax obligations
• Assist with budgeting and forecasting activities
• Accounts Payable
• Accounts Receivable

Your Background

To be considered for this Accountant role, you will have the following skills and attributes:

• At least 2 years in a similar role (AP, AR and month-end reporting)
• Hotels or hospitality industry experience will be highly regarded
• Degree qualified
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Full Australian working rights
