Company Background

Our client is a medium-sized Financial Services enterprise with a reputation for excellence and a high-profile client portfolio. As a business, they are continually expanding both locally and overseas. The office is close to public transport with flexibility to work from home 2 days per week.

The Role

Working closely with the CFO you will be given excellent learning opportunities and your responsibilities will include (but not limited to):

• Preparation of month-end accounts
• Monthly balance sheet and general ledger reconciliations
• Bank reconciliations in multiple currencies
• Preparation of journals
• Preparation of the quarterly BAS return
• Maintenance of the fixed-asset register
• Preparation and processing of payments 
• Assisting with budgeting and forecasting
• Involvement in projects such as the implementation of a new system

Your Background

To be considered for this Accountant role you will meet the majority of the following criteria:

• Experienced working in a broad role encompassing month-end reporting in a medium-sized business
• Ideally you will have worked in the Financial Services or leasing sector
• Strong attention to detail coupled with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Enjoy working in a broad hands-on role.
