The Role

Your role as the Payroll Manager will report to a talented CFO and will take full ownership of the payroll function. This role will be responsible for:

  • End to end processing of 7-9 fortnightly payrolls

  • Answering payroll related queries

  • Processing new starters and terminations

  • Monthly and annual reconciliations, reporting and journals for payroll, payroll tax, PAYG, superannuation, workers compensation etc.

  • Various payroll and finance projects as required

  • Work with Department Managers to provide payroll related reporting and support

  • Interpreting awards / agreements and contracts

  • Assisting with the completion of payroll related month end and year end processes and liaising with the Accounting Team

Your Background

To be considered for this Payroll Manager position you will:

  • Be able to get to Belrose as a location 3 days per week

  • Experience in the majority of the aforementioned tasks and the confidence / ability to take on a standalone payroll role.

  • High attention to detail and take pride in accuracy

  • Ability to meet deadlines

  • It is essential that you are a confident communicator (both written and verbal)

  • Thorough understanding of payroll legislation and award interpretation
