Reporting to the Head of FP&A, as the Senior Financial Analyst you will be responsible for supporting the leadership in reporting, analysis and planning. More specifically the role will include (but not be limited to):
Drive the budgeting, forecasting, and planning activities including modelling
Build and maintain models and dashboards
Manage the systems used for budgeting, forecasting and analytics
Review, manage and develop Excel models used for reporting purposes
Prepare reports for senior finance and non-finance stakeholders including written commentaries
Provide analysis to drive profitability and identify opportunities
Participate in system upgrades and improvements and process improvement projects
Ad hoc projects as required
To be considered for this Senior Financial Analyst role, you should possess the following skills and attributes:
Significant FP&A experience in a professional services setting – preferably legal
Excellent data analytics and modelling skills
Experience in writing macros and using SQL will be highly regarded
Experience partnering with multiple stakeholders of varying levels
Experience in using BI tools such as Power BI, Qlikview, Tableau or similar
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
A passion for working collaboratively and mentoring junior team members
