Our client is a well-known, not-for-profit services organisation that are currently based in Sydney’s lower North Shore. They specialise in developing and managing aged care facilities. Furthermore, they are enjoying an exciting period of change and highly recognised for the services they provide. This is a truly terrific role for an experienced Senior AP Officer candidate that has arisen due to an internal restructure. This role will significantly build on your skill set and make a contribution for the greater good, leaving you with a strong sense of accomplishment - both professionally and personally.
As the Senior AP Officer, your responsibilities will include but is not limited to:
- Working closely with the AP Manager to manage the AP team
- Full function accounts payable duties
- Weekly payment runs
- Petty Cash reconciliations
- Corporate Credit card reconciliations
- Expense management
- Making process improvements and system design
- Driving new projects
To be considered for this role you will have at least 4 years of experience working in a full function Accounts Payable role. Previous working experience in making process improvements and streamlining procedures is essential. A positive, forward thinking and problem solving disposition is a pre-requisite as is the ability to liaise confidently with professional stakeholders. This is a role best suited for someone ready to step up and take on more leadership duties.
