The Role
This role is called an Assistant Financial Controller role within the group. You would have the accounting tasks for two properties. These would cover:
Balance sheet reconciliation
EOM close / P&L prep for review for both sites
Monthly management reports
Daily revenue reports & cashflow management
Assistance with the audit
Payroll for both locations – 30-35 staff including superannuation, payroll journals and tax
BAS
Accounts Payable duties
Your Background
Our client does have a great preference for candidates with some experience in the hotel and/or hospitality industry.
Secondary to this would be a multi-site business where you have broad experience from AP through to management reporting.
You must have a relevant degree in commerce/accounting and ideally be working towards CA or CPA.
Excellent communications skills and a strong work ethic are essential.
This role is four full days a week.
