​Our client is a successful Property company located in the heart of the CBD. They are currently on the hunt for a Property Accountant to join their team on a permanent basis.

The Role

As the Property Accountant, you will report to the owner of the business and be responsible for (but not limited to):

  • Maintain all leases on MRI

  • Maintain all billing and follow up arrears with tenants

  • Maintain property budgets and forecasts

  • Maintain outgoings budgets and monitor actuals against budget

  • Annual outgoings reconciliations - calculation, tenant recharge, and setting of new outgoings recoveries

  • Recharge tenants for cost recovery

  • Work with leasing manager to monitor critical dates for rentals

  • Property development cost monitoring

  • Daily bank reconciliations

  • Group GST

Your Background

To be considered for this Property Accountant role you will ideally meet the following criteria:

  • Be immediately available

  • MRI is essential

  • You must have a strong grounding working in a property business previously in a role incorporating much of the above

  • Additionally as the ideal candidate you will have an enthusiastic and can do attitude coupled with excellent communication and interpersonal skills

  • Those that have worked as a Financial Accountant or Corporate Accountant (or similar) within the property space using MRI are welcome to apply
