As the Payroll Specialist, your duties will include (but are not limited to):
Work on the vital system upgrade project as a key member of the project team
Payroll processing during a busy period
Work with the Payroll Manager on updating payroll processes to ensure efficiency and compliance with the new system
Ensuring accurate payroll transactions and payments
Complying with relevant awards and legislation
Ad Hoc duties as required
This is initially a 6 month contract role with a possible extension.
To be considered for this Payroll Specialist role, ideally you will meet some of the following criteria:
End to end payroll experience for a minimum of 3+ years
Experience in participating or managing a system upgrade or implementation
Experience using Ascender
Excellent attention to detail
Solid communication skills as you will be liaising with internal and external stakeholders
