The Company

​Our client is privately owned with a range of fascinating interests spanning a number of sectors including the lucrative luxury leisure and investment industries.

Based in a picturesque Inner West location (street parking available) they enjoy a friendly and high-performance office culture.

Due to an internal restructure an exciting new role has arisen which will offer fascinating breadth and exposure whilst you will be relied upon by both internal and external stakeholders.

The Role

Your role as the Payroll and Executive Assistant will see you partner Senior Directors from an EA perspective whilst also ensuring the business’s admin and payroll runs seamlessly.

As the business has a number of interests, you will be exposed to a whole range of interesting duties and stakeholders. More specifically you will:

  • Run the multi-company payroll of around 20 staff (a mixture of fortnightly and monthly)

  • Finetune the payroll processes including looking at controls

  • Assist with currency transfers (training provided)

  • Provide input and play a key role during busy periods such as coordinating events

  • Full range of Executive Assistant duties for the Directors

  • Regularly interact with customers, and stakeholders both internally and externally

  • Clerical and administrative tasks to ensure the smooth running of the office

  • Work with other departments and businesses within the group to answer queries and coordinate requests

  • Ad hoc duties

Your Background

  • To be considered for this Payroll & Executive Assistant opportunity you will:

  • Have a strong payroll background as a pre-requisite. You will have run an office payroll previously and be capable to review a payroll process and implement improvements.

  • Have a true ‘can-do’ attitude, love to be involved, help your stakeholders and get things done with a minimum of fuss.

  • Be well presented and have terrific stakeholder management capabilities.

  • Have excellent time management and organizational skills coupled with brilliant communication abilities (written and verbal).

Full training can be provided in any duties outside of payroll that you may not have had experience in.
