Working closely with the Finance Manager, you will be exposed to a variety of tasks. Your responsibilities will include but not be limited to:
Assisting with the month end process
Accounts payable and expense processing
Perform bank & credit card reconciliation
Balance sheet reconciliations
Prepare journals, accruals and prepayments
Assist in the preparation of the annual audit
Assisting with cashflow reporting
Maintain and reconcile the fixed asset register
Ad hoc project work in the support of the wider business.
In order to be successful in role, you will have experience performing the majority of the above responsibilities. You will have a minimum of two years’ experience working in a commercial enterprise. You will be happy to get in and roll up your sleeves helping out with invoicing as well as supporting the wider business
You must have the following:
Experience within a commercial enterprise
A high level of proficiency in the use of Excel (minimum v look ups and pivot tables)
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Have used ERP systems such as NetSuite, Oracle, SAP or MYOB EXO
Be a quick learner and have good initiative with an “always asking for more” attitude
