This Financial / Management Accountant role is key to the smooth operation of the NZ business and also supports the Financial Controller with the commercial work for Australia
Ownership for the NZ Business finance function - AR, AP, journals, working with the external accountant there for the company tax return and statutory requirements, monthly financial and management reports, including P&L, Balance Sheet, marketing, operational, shipment and staff performance reports
Oversee monthly sales reports and analyse sales Gross Profit across product groups. Identify key impacts on sales GP and cost efficiencies
Provide project reports and quote analysis, Gross Profit, stock movement and direct cost (e.g., labour, overheads, buy-in and WIP)
Produce monthly cash flow statement and forecast. Monitor FX exposure and movement
Oversee inventory movement and rolling stock take. Oversee stock reconciliation
Oversee Fixed Asset register and depreciation

CA or CPA qualified
Job costing/Project Accounting experience
Currently a financial, management or project accountant
Excellent communication skills
